How it works

Read it. Edit it. Or make them forget.

Each character keeps what you told them — as plain sentences, on their own page, where you can change any of it.

A conversation that carries on

If you talk to the same character next week, they still know what happened. The thing you told them about your job, the argument from last time, the fact that you hate being asked how you are feeling — those come with them.

Without that, every conversation restarts from nothing and you spend the first ten messages re-explaining yourself, which is the fastest way to stop bothering.

And you can see exactly what it is

This is the part worth knowing. What a character remembers is a short list of short sentences, and it is on their page, in the app, in words you can read.

Not a summary of a summary, not an embedding, not something you have to take on trust. If a character has drawn a conclusion about you that you do not like, you can find the sentence that says it and delete it.

There is also a "forget everything" button on each character, which clears what they know and stops the app mining the old conversations to rebuild it. The messages stay; the memory of them goes.

What it does with a thumbs down

Every reply has a 👍 and a 👎. They are not a rating going into a void — a reaction becomes a note on that character about how you want to be spoken to, and it outranks the general settings.

So "too formal" or "stop asking questions" takes effect on the next reply and keeps applying, and you can read the note it made on their page like any other.

Questions

Can I see what a character remembers about me?
Yes — it is a list of plain sentences on that character’s page, and you can edit or delete any of them.
Can I make a character forget everything?
Yes. There is a "forget everything" control on their page. It clears what they know and stops the app rebuilding it from past conversations. The messages themselves stay.
